About the J.D. Hill Jewellers Family
Members of the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) and the Brantford Chamber of Commerce, family-owned and operated J.D. Hill Jewellers was established in 1970. The Hill family has a passion for jewellery that has been passed down from generation to generation. Second generation and current owner, Jamie Hill is a graduate goldsmith from George Brown College with over 30 years of experience. Jamie is joined by his wife Lisa Hill, a graduate jeweller of the CJA and their knowledgeable and friendly staff, which includes a certified gemologist. Jamie’s father and founder of J.D. Hill Jewellers, Jim Hill, graduated as a watchmaker from the Provincial Institute of Trades (now known as George Brown College). Jim was a graduate jeweller with extensive knowledge of precious stones, jewellery, antique watches, and clocks. He was also a past president of the Ontario Watchmakers Association.
