J.D. Hill Jewellers has been serving Brantford and surrounding areas since 1970. We are a member of the Canadian Jewellers Association and Brantford Chamber of Commerce.
We are a family run business that specializes in SERVICE. Jim Hill graduated from the Provincial Institute of Trades (now known as George Brown College) as a watchmaker. Jim is also a graduate jeweller with extensive knowledge in precious stones, jewellery, antique watches and clocks. He is a past president of the Ontario Watchmakers Association. Jim's son, Jamie Hill, is a Graduate Goldsmith from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, specializing in metalurgy, design, and master setting. After Jamie graduated, he studied under Mr.Steve Stapany, a master designer and gem setter from Beverly Hills, California; Mr.Accura Degomi, goldsmith and metalurgist; and Mr.Tom Pet K of Thailand, a specialist in the design and repair of fine jewellery. Jamie Hill specializes in CUSTOM DESIGNS and works in silver, all carats of gold and platinum.
